Growth & Brand
Almanac ↗ was a series-A startup, building a modern document editor with features designed to support asynchronous work and decision-making.
I spent my first 8 months doing product design with the Growth team and brand design with the Marketing team. As the only designer to work across Product and Brand, I championed aligning both experiences while working on projects between teams.
The impact
This work defined a cohesive perception with our target audience and lowered the barrier of entry to recognizing and utilizing our product.
(Case studies available on request)
Self-Serve Registration
The product’s first registration flow; designed to increase our user base and not overburden our white-glove experience.
Onboarding
Balancing quickly getting users into the product but still gathering important details about them, and helping orient them to the product.
Inbox
Making it easier for users to take action on desktop and mobile, with a redesigned interface for notifications ↗.
Logo & Branding
Led a redesign that explored an evolution of the symbol, wordmark, and creation of guidelines.
Website design
Designed and art directed the expansion of a full marketing website, based on an initial homepage concept.
Paywall
Redesigning the entry points and flows of subtle (and obvious) paywall alerts to keep users aware of their subscription level and limits.
Community Templates
For brand consistency, I led the expansion of our new aesthetic into the core template library ↗.
Marketing ads
I defined a system of product abstractions for our Marketing team to use, test, and iterate on ads and campaigns.
